Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
This policy explains what information we collect on this website and when you buy Nobody Said Impossible, how we use it, and the choices you have. In this policy “we” means Slow Sky Books (slowskybooks.com), the publisher of this book and of the Slow Sky channel on YouTube.
What we collect
- When you visit the site. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and basic technical data (browser type, pages requested) to deliver the pages and protect the site. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify you.
- In your own browser. If you arrived from a link with tracking labels (such as “utm_source”), those labels are kept in your browser for your visit and passed to the checkout, so we know which link brought you. They stay on your device and are not sent to us in any other way. The site sets no cookies of its own.
- When you buy. Your order is sold and processed by Gumroad, the merchant of record. They collect your name, email address, payment details and country to process the payment and deliver your download, under their own privacy policy (https://gumroad.com/privacy). We never see your full card number. Gumroad shares with us your name, email address and order details so we can deliver the book and help you.
- When you email us. We keep your message and email address to answer you.
How we use it
To deliver your purchase, answer your questions, process refunds, keep the site safe, and understand in total numbers how visitors find the site. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use advertising trackers.
Who else handles it
Only the services named above that help us run the shop: Cloudflare (hosting and visit counts) and Gumroad (sale, checkout and delivery). We may also share information if the law requires it.
Your choices
- Ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We will answer within 30 days.
- You can clear what this site keeps in your browser at any time in your browser settings, or simply by closing the tab.
Do Not Track
We do not track visitors across other websites, so we treat every visit the same whether or not your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal. Third parties do not collect personal information about your online activities across sites through this website.
Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
